Our story

How it all started

MasterCraft Plumbers was founded by a local contractor, Joe Martin after his frustration in trying to find reputable and professional plumbers for the remodeling division of his company.

After working with dozens of plumbing companies over the years, he teamed up with Mike Hazecamp, one of the best local plumbers in the business whose family has been in the business for two generations.

Mike and Joe are committed to delivering top-notch plumbing services to homeowners in and around Carlsbad and Murrieta, Ca. with exceptional service and total peace of mind.

MasterCraft Plumbing is a division of MasterCraft Home Improvement operating under the California Contractor License # 1017799.

Meet Our Manager

Mike Hazekamp

Following in his Father’s footsteps, Mike started plumbing at the early age of 5. Growing up with a Dad that was a professional Plumber of over 40 years, Mike picked up the trade early on starting in residential plumbing.

At 18, Mike started Commercial Plumbing Building schools and since then, has been providing his plumbing expertise to residential and commercial projects for over 20 years.

With a focus on customer service and cleanliness of work, Mike provides a proven track record of successful plumbing project completions.

Mike’s experience with government and OSDPD operations has contributed to his attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.

Exceeding customer’s expectations is of utmost importance to Mike and is demonstrated through the quality of work he provides.

One of Mike’s passions is riding and fixing dirt bikes and camping trips. When Mike is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dog who reside in San Marcos, CA.
